GOLF-HOTEL DE SEIGNOSSE - Golfers Ratings

03-21-2012 - Edward Little (Manchester, England Hcp 14)

The course is excellent. Well maintained and presented it makes you think all the way round. You need to play this course several times to get the best out of it but certainly worth playing once if you can't do more. More a traditional British design than the samey american ones you get on the Algarve and in Spain. The clubhouse is friendly with good facilities. If you're in the area don't miss it, it will make your day! The hotel is something else though! Run down, poorly staffed and in desperate need of a makeover. The stair carpets were threadbare and none-existent after the first flight! The pool was empty (except for the leaves) and the surrounding area very dirty. Avoid the hotel but play the course!

05-29-2006 - Dave Thompson (Halesowen, England Hcp 13)

Must be one of the best courses in France. Each hole is different. holes are long and quite tight with undulating greens. Play it if your in the area.

Rating: 8.7/10   (Welcoming:9/10  Course:10/10  Facilities:8/10  Value/Money:8/10)

  01-29-2005 - Luc Moeyersons (Belgium Hcp 17,7)

A truly great course. The mounds reminded me of another golfcourse designed by Von Hagge, Emporda. Great scenary as well and never a boring moment. From the par three holes there are 3 quite short, but that makes a changes from those 200 meter par three which most average handicapers won't be able to reach. The last hole par 5 560 meters uphill would be better hole if it was shortened a bit.

Rating: 9/10   (Welcoming:9/10  Course:9/10  Facilities:9/10  Value/Money:9/10)

  01-19-2004 - Paul Green (uk Hcp 11)

This course is magnificent,a true gem, each hole is memorable,a credit to French golf, the hotal is a little dreary, needs some Anglo saxon livening up,play the golf and move on

Rating: 8/10   (Welcoming:5/10  Course:10/10  Facilities:8/10  Value/Money:9/10)
